Hybrid Robotics

In 2018, Boomerang Catapult made a pre-product investment to support four Northwestern Michigan College students’ aspiration to turn their concept — a fully capable aerial drone that would operate an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) and winch system — into a marketable product and a business. The student designers thus became the founders of Hybrid Robotics. Based on market response, Hybrid Robotics is currently focused on producing and selling specific, innovative components of its drone-ROV system that provide safety features for drone and ROV operators.
